A full restructure, rethink and redesign of Svenska Dagbladet in digital.

In my job as Creative Director at Svenska Dagbladet (2003-2013) I worked continuously with strengthening the visual and graphic design-DNA in all touchpoints.
The main design DNA is the customised typeface Sueca, (that I directed for SvD in 2008-2009). SvD’s new news website SvD.se became the first in Europe with their own typeface, launched in 2011. The typeface creates a great user experience in svd.se and a clear connection to the printed newspaper that I also redesigned (2005, 2008, 2013).
In this project I also collaborated with Mark Porter, MPA, UK, who’s experience in designing The Guardian for digital,  was a huge learning and a great inspiration. For the frontend design SvD partner with the Swedish design studio Oktavilla.se.
In 2013 my design studio did a full redesign of the mobile site to correspond with SvD’s overall identity and the website SvD.se. I implemented the webversion of Sueca typeface and a new colour system. For the frontend design SvD partner with the Swedish design studio Oktavilla.se.
In 2015-2016 my design studio helped design consulting SvD with all the type design in the new responsive website update of SvD.se (launched 2016).
