Welcome, to merge into — the world of Parnaso

A printed object showcasing the typeface: ”Parnaso”, designed by Mario Feliciano, Feliciano Type, Lisbon, Portugal.

The project scope was to create an editorial and surprising printed object to exhibit the typeface and base it on the ‘idea of the typeface’ instead of what’s the traditional typeface specimen: how to use the typeface. Felicianos inspiration for the typeface Parnaso is a bookstore named Parnaso, in Lisbon, that he visited first time as young.

During the design process we became more aware of the meaning of the Parnaso — Parnassus in English — And some of the deepest mythic places of classic Greek culture.
