New platform for Visual Journalism

This is such a cool initiative with a new platform named visual-journalism  on publishing, editorial design and visual journalism started by Thomas Weyres.

I’m interviewed on how the studio works and this is a summary;  ”Why Trust Matters More Than Ever for News Media in a Rapidly Changing World”. Creative Director Anna Thurfjell has shaped the visual identity of some of Northern Europe’s most respected news brands.

She explains how she decodes a publication’s design DNA, why typography is key to building trust, and how editorial design adapts to AI, automation, and multi-platform storytelling”.

5 interviews been released, so far, Tuomas Jääskeläinen, Art Director at Helsingin Sanomat, who the studio had the pleaseure to work with and I was excited to learn about Design director Martina Ibáñez-Baldor who leads the visual strategy for De Los, the Los Angeles Times platform exploring Latino culture is also featured (main visual). I look forward to follow and read what collegues out in the world says.
