Anna Thurfjell Studio is an award-winning design studio specialising in media. Since 2013, we have helped some of Nordics most beloved brands to adapt to the digital media landscape.

Anna Thurfjell is the founder and Creative Director (M.A), her skill is developing visual identities for media brands by strengthening the graphic and visual design DNA on all touch points.

Thurfjell has +20 years experience in news design and visual journalism in the media industry and more than 12 years experience of leading digital design development.

She has that experience from two decades as a leading designer and as an award-winning design creator. At Svenska Dagbladet, Berlingske, Jyllands-Posten, Aftenposten, and JP/Politiken Media Group.

Her main background is 12 years as Creative Director at Svenska Dagbladet, where she led the the design development of SvD’s brand and design on paper and digital. Here under project management, education, training and coaching of visual employees.

Thurfjell’s specialty is direction and creation of type and custom type and brand identities. She has been responsible for the development of the exclusive customised typeface: Sueca, designed by Mário Feliciano, Feliciano Type, 2009 for SvD.

Thurfjell is an experienced speaker and lecturer with over 10 international speaks over the past 15 years in Europe and US.
